PLEASE NOTE: This tool works great but is missing a few minor factory parts, including the original trigger push-button. The tool is usable with the rubber button I have substituted. The tool has a small air leak coming from the trigger area. The air only leaks when the trigger button is pushed. You can easily purchase the trigger button and missing parts at modest cost, as noted.

This is a used heavy-duty Marson Alcoa Arconic 304-E Rivet Gun, Model No. 39064, in excellent hardly used condition.
A new Marson 304-E is currently selling for over 0 - 00.
The 304-E is Marson’s most powerful air/hydraulic riveter, with its vacuum system that holds the rivet in the nosepiece, allowing the operator to rivet at any angle with one hand free. The vacuum system automatically collects the spent mandrel into a bottle, creating a cleaner, safer work environment by preventing spent mandrels from falling to the floor. A traction pulling power of 4200 lbs. allows this tool to easily set structural rivets such as Klik- Lock® and other structural blind rivets. Its long 7/8" stroke enables the tool to set most rivets in one pull. The push button trigger and molded frame provide the operator with maximum comfort using minimal effort. The recommended airline pressure is 85-95 PSI. Weight: 5 1/2 lbs. This industrial quality tool is manufactured in Italy for Marson by FAR, and is equivalent to FAR model RAC 171.
This
304-E
is equipped with two (2) nosepieces for 1/4” and 3/16” rivets, screw-on mandrel collection bottle, 1/4” NPT inlet air coupler, and a copy of the instruction manual. Additional nosepieces, parts and accessories are readily available for this tool from a variety of sources which you can find online (NOT INCLUDED). This tool uses Mobil DTE 24 or equivalent hydraulic fluid (NOT INCLUDED), which is readily available from a variety of sources.
PLEASE NOTE! The two included nosepieces are third-party items with a different outer wrench size. However, they have the correct thread size to fit this tool and work just fine. However, they are probably slightly different lengths then the original Marson nosepieces. This means that when installed on the tool, they don't push down on the Jaw assembly quite the same way. During my testing, I found it some of the rivet stems will not easily push through the tool into the mandrel collector. They must be removed manually from the front of the tool. If you're not pulling too many rivets, this is only a minor inconvenience. However, if you want the tool to work perfectly, you can order the original Marson nosepieces as listed in the included parts list for about - each.
As noted, this tool is missing
the original trigger push-button. The tool is usable with the rubber button I have substituted, which you can see in the photos. This rubber button simply presses onto the trigger valve piston protruding from the front of the tool. It does not attach very firmly so be careful that you don't lose it! You can buy a replacement factory push button for only .34 (
Part 29 on diagram, Part No. 88042 Push Button) from blindrivetsupply dot com and other suppliers.
The other parts that are missing are minor and don't affect the function of the tool:

This used Marson
304-E
riveter is in excellent very clean overall condition
. It has some very minor cosmetic surface scratches, scuffs, stains
,
and general wear. It looks like it has hardly been used. I tested the tool on a few
1/4” and 3/16” aluminum and
steel rivets and it works great. The tool pulls strongly and smoothly with no major air or fluid leaks. The vacuum system works great.
PLEASE NOTE!
The tool has a small air leak coming from the trigger area. The air only leaks when the trigger button is pushed. I don't know if this is adjustable or perhaps needs new O-rings as listed on the parts diagram.
PLEASE NOTE! As explained in the description, the two included third-party nosepieces do not allow stems from some rivet types to push through the tool into the mandrel collector. The stems must be removed by hand from the front of the tool. You can easily solve this by purchasing original Marson nosepieces as listed in the included parts list at reasonable cost.
